Our Primary Care Services

We offer in-person visits as well as telemedicine visits with our practitioners. Yarmouth Medical Center has been offering telehealth video visits in response to COVID-19, since the beginning of the pandemic. Depending on the complaint, patients may elect to receive the medical care they need without coming to the office. All you need is a smartphone, desktop, or laptop equipped with a web camera. If you’re new to telehealth, we encourage you to call our office and we’ll get you started.

In addition to primary care, we offer preventative care including annual physicals or Medicare Annual Wellness visits, and management of chronic diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, and emphysema/asthma. We have some of the best primary care practitioners at our clinic and look forward to welcoming you to our family.

How to Cope with Seasonal Affective Disorder | Yarmouth Medical Center
February 25, 2025
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that typically occurs in the winter months, when daylight hours are shorter. This condition can cause feelings of sadness, fatigue, and hopelessness, which can interfere with daily life. The exact cause of SAD is not fully understood, but it’s believed that the lack of sunlight affects the body’s internal clock (circadian rhythms) and leads to imbalances in important neurotransmitters like serotonin. People with SAD may also experience changes in their sleep patterns, appetite, and energy levels.
